Nominations Open for Glanbrook, Ancaster and Dundas Community Awards

Celebrating excellence in Glanbrook, Ancaster and Dundas
Nominations are open for Citizen of the Year, Youth Volunteer of the Year and Business of the Year in the communities of Glanbrook, Ancaster and Dundas.
Citizen nominees
must have performed the act for which they are being nominated in a voluntary capacity in the local community for which award they are being nominated, over and above those required of them in the performance of their regular professional duties.
Or, in the course of their professional activity, have brought outstanding/remarkable attention to the local community for which award they are being nomintated on a provincial, national or international basis.
Youth nominees
must be 19 years of age or under as of December 31, 2013 and have performed their volunteer activity in the community for which award they are being nominated.
Business nominees
must be in business in the community for which award they are being nominated. Businesses will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and will be judged on community involvement for the overall business or on a project/program basis.
The Glanbrook Community Awards
will be presented on Saturday, March 1 at the Binbrook Fairgrounds. Download the Glanbrook awards nomination form.

will be presented on Tuesday, April 8 at the Ancaster Mill
