Divisions & Groups
The Hamilton Chamber has three divisions and a few groups. Any Chamber member in good standing is welcome to participate in any of the Chamber’s events, groups and divisions. Please see our events calendar to register or contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
This division meets on the second Friday of the month at 12:00pm. This division provides support and leadership for local business issues relating to the community of Ancaster and organizes local community based-events.Each meeting features a guest speaker and time to network. Ancaster Division Chair: Marcy Nixon (Scotiabank)
The division meets at various locations around Dundas for evening reception events that include networking and local updates. Dundas Division Chair: Krysta Boyer (Blair Blanchard Stapleton)
The Young Entrepreneurs & Professionals (YEP) division to any Chamber member under the age of 40. YEP hosts monthly general meetings, round table events and an annual community fundraiser that are open to all Chamber members. YEP members also receive discounted tickets to Chamber events.

Human Resources Network
The HR Network group provides educational and networking opportunities for HR professionals and business owners/managers (or their delegates) who are interested in human resource issues. The group presents interactive panel discussions and events with an HR focus.
HR Network Committee:
Chair: Cheryl Byrne (Cheryl Byrne Consulting) who works with leaders to clarify their strategies, set clear goal measurements and evaluate the culture changes that will be needed to reach their strategic goals. She supports the work of leaders in the executive suite and at the Board table. She facilitates critical meetings, conducts Board assessments and coaches Directors and executives as they seek to improve their performance. She also measures the effectiveness of culture and develops leadership skills to improve it.
Vice Chair: Julie Holden (Holden & Associate Inc.) who offers human resource consulting services in the area of HR policy development, workplace mental health and absence & disability management strategies to help employers contain costs and improve productivity.
Secretary: Christina Birmingham (Birmingham Consulting). Christina is responsible for HR and Administration at Birmingham Consulting. Christina is also a member of the Human Resources Professional Association (HRPA) – Hamilton.
Member: Wade Poziomka (Ross & McBride LLP). He frequently appears before the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario. He also serves as the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association’s Constitutional, Civil Liberties and Human Rights Section, as 1st Vice-President of the Board of Directors of ARCH Disability Law, and as one of three appointed applicant-side representatives to the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario’s Practice Advisory Committee. Wade is also a Partner with Ross McBride LLP.
This group is category-exclusive, which means that you do not compete with other companies who do what you do. The goal is to create and develop mutually beneficial professional relationships and to promote and grow your businesses. The group meets every two weeks from 7:15am – 8:45am. There is an additional charge of$120 + HST per quarter to join.
