Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Announces Agenda for Hamilton Economic Summit: An Investor’s Guide to the Ambitious City

HAMILTON May 9, 2014: Today, The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce announced the agenda for the 2014 Hamilton Economic Summit: An Investor’s Guide to the Ambitious City.  The fast-paced, half-day event, will feature Hamilton’s institutional leaders and a couple special guests.

Dr. Patrick Deane- President, McMaster University
Geoff Cape – President and CEO, Evergreen
Dr. Hubert R. Krygsman – President, Redeemer University College
Rob MacIsaac – President and CEO, Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation
Tom Murphy- Former Mayor Pittsburgh
Chris Murray- City Manager, City of Hamilton
Frank Scremin – President and CEO, Hamilton International Airport
Dr. Kevin Smith – CEO, St. Joseph’s Health System
Bruce Wood – President and CEO, Hamilton Port Authority

The summit will also feature videos from Mohawk College and McMaster Innovation Park on their initiatives, along with updates on Chamber-led economic actions, including its task forces and committee work.  The program will conclude with a panel featuring various Hamilton investors, moderated by CHML’s Bill Kelly.  Content will be presented by local leaders in concise talks supported by dynamic images, infographics and videos. Emphasis will be placed on the spinoff benefits needed to move Hamilton forward.
