Last night, at a dinner held at the Ancaster Mill, the Ancaster Division of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce announced the winners of the Ancaster Community Awards.

RBC Citizen of the Year:

Marty Schure

Ancaster Mill Youth Volunteer of the Year:

Abby Sparling, Ancaster High School

Heritage Household Services Business of the Year:

Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home

The awards, which were attended by 150 people, were also sponsored by The REALTORS Association of Hamilton/Burlington and the Ancaster News. The Youth Volunteer of the Year received a bursary from the Rotary Clubs of Ancaster.
