Hamilton Arts Council is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1969 by artists, politicians, and the community at large. It was incorporated in 1973 and is one of the longest serving arts councils in Ontario. We envision a dynamic arts community that is innovative, impactful, diverse, and professionally sustainable. We advocate for the arts as integral to a healthy community, and provide inclusive opportunities to build connection and sustainability.
