The Argylls are an infantry unit of the Canadian Forces primary reserves. As infantry soldiers, the Argylls are the Army’s primary war-fighters and at the core of the Combat Arms team. They are responsible for closing with and destroying the enemy. Canada’s Reserve Force is an important part of Canada’s national heritage. Service in the Reserve Force is voluntary and is for an indefinite period of service.
