Hamilton Economic Development and Local Chambers making it simpler for Hamilton businesses to access the right talent and growth opportunities: Hamilton Exports Portal

· by Whitney Eames

HAMILTON, ON – April 10, 2018 – This morning at the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce’s Mayor’s Breakfast, the City of Hamilton announced the launch of the Hamilton Exports Portal. This free online platform, powered by Magnet, helps large-to-small businesses navigate and identify relevant funding programs, export expertise, events, trade mission and resources.

HOW IT WORKS: Businesses answer simple questions about their industry, sector, and location. Relevant and tailored information from the Government of Ontario, Global Affairs Canada, Business Development Bank of Canada and Export Development Canada will be sent directly to them.

Hamilton businesses will find it simple, quick and convenient to:

  • Receive customized updates and information on export-related services, government funding and grants, resources and more
  • Learn of newly launched business growth opportunities and trade missions that match your business
  • Customize your dashboard and get information delivered right to your email inbox

The Hamilton Exports Portal is a joint initiative between Hamilton Economic Development and the three local Chambers of Commerce: Hamilton, Stoney Creek, and Flamborough.

The Hamilton Exports Portal also supports Hamilton businesses in their recruitment efforts, allowing companies to find job candidates with the right skills and qualifications.

Creating an account on the Hamilton Exports Portal is free for Hamilton businesses. It only takes two minutes to sign up and activate your account today:  http://www.hamiltonexports.ca
