Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Ancaster Division, Announces Nominees of 2013 Ancaster Community Awards

April 2, 2014- Hamilton, ON – The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, Ancaster Division, has announced the following nominees for the Ancaster Community Awards, which is comprised of the RBC Citizen of the Year Award, the Ancaster Mill Youth Volunteer of the Year Award, and the Heritage Household Services Business of the Year.

RBC Citizen of the Year Nominees:
  • Robert J. Wilkins, Chair, Ancaster Village BIA
  • Marty Schure, Dimar Enterprises
  • Lori Parkinson, Hamilton Gymnastic Academy
  • Norma Chapman, Volunteer, Ancaster Community Services
Ancaster Mill Youth Volunteer of the Year Nominees:
  • Abby Sparling, Ancaster High School
  • Nora Abdalaal, Ancaster High School
  • Felicia Binotto, Ancaster High School
Heritage Household Services Business of the Year Nominees:
  • Coach & Lantern
  • Dodsworth & Brown Funeral Home

The awards are also sponsored by The Hamilton/Burlington Realtors Association, and the Ancaster News. The Youth Volunteer of the Year will receive a bursary from the Rotary Clubs of Ancaster. The winners will be announced at a dinner held at the Ancaster Mill on April 7, 2014 at 5:30pm.
