Canada Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) Information Session

In partnership with the World Trade Centre Toronto (WTC-T), the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce and the City of Hamilton are hosting a free information session virtually on Canada’s Trade Accelerator Program (TAP).

The Trade Accelerator Program (TAP) is an award-winning program designed to help small- and medium-sized enterprises gain knowledge and the necessary network of contacts to unleash their export potential. Through a series of in-depth workshop sessions with leading trade and industry experts, SME owners and executives learn to overcome export barriers and reach new markets faster.

Some notable stats from the over 928 graduate companies since the TAP program’s inception in 2015:

• There is a 38% average growth in export revenue one year after participation;
• 3 years after graduation, companies experience a 180% average increase in revenue, and a 280% average increase in export revenue;
• 37% of companies secured additional financing since graduating the program, with an average of $1.8 million in additional financing received per company
