In 2024, the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, with United Way and the McKeil Family Foundation, launched the Hamilton Gives Awards, a philanthropic initiative connecting businesses with local charities, raising over $30,000, and honouring companies across eight categories for community impact.

Building on the inaugural year’s success, the awards are expanding to increase partnerships, outreach, and categories, empowering more businesses to deepen their philanthropic efforts and strengthen their leadership role in Hamilton’s community.
