Climate Innovators Gala

Join us as Hamilton comes together to celebrate its boldest innovators and take your place at the centre of our community’s climate leadership journey.

The Climate Innovators Gala is a brand-new marquee celebration designed to connect business leaders driving sustainable change, while recognizing the organizations and individuals spearheading climate action in Hamilton and beyond. Held on the opening evening of Mohawk College’s PIVOT Conference, the Gala is a dynamic evening of connection, storytelling, and civic pride—celebrating the ideas, partnerships, and progress shaping a more sustainable future.

Hosted by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, the evening will spotlight bold community-based leadership in areas like green building, the circular economy, youth leadership, clean technology, and low-carbon innovation.

The Honourable Bob Rae, Canada’s former ambassador to the United Nations, Premier of Ontario, and Interim Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada, will provide the evening’s keynote address.

Offering a rare insight into navigating complex global challenges, building consensus across divides, and leading through transformation, his keynote address will draw upon his firsthand experience and inspire Hamilton’s next wave of climate innovation.

Tickets for the Climate Innovators Gala can be purchased through the PIVOT registration portal as part of a conference package. You do not need to attend PIVOT to attend this event. Standalone tickets and tables can be purchased below.

Mohawk College’s PIVOT Conference, is a multi-day gathering designed to accelerate climate action through collaboration, innovation, and community engagement. The conference features immersive field trips, through-provoking keynotes from David Suzuki, Award-Winning Scientist, Environmentalist and Broadcaster and Anthony Morgan, Host of the Nature of Things and Leading Collaboration Expert, and dynamic panel discussions.
