Dr. Mike Moffatt is Executive in Residence at the Smart Prosperity Institute and Assistant Professor at Ivey Business School, Western University. His research focuses on regional economic development, sustainable communities, and clean innovation.

He previously served as Chief Innovation Fellow for the Government of Canada and has advised policymakers across party lines and countries. Mike has also held roles at Canada 2020, the Mowat Centre, and the Lawrence National Centre. He holds a Ph.D. in Management Science from Ivey and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Rochester. He is also a disability-rights advocate.
