Small Business Summit & Young Leaders Forum

Thursday, October 22, 2026 | 9:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
McMaster University (McLean Centre for Collaborative Discovery)

Two events. One day — A full slate of programming dedicated to big ideas, meaningful connections and the future of business in Hamilton.

As part of Small Business Week, the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce is bringing together entrepreneurs, small business owners and the next generation of business leaders for a unique full-day experience focused on community building, leadership and business growth.

The day begins with our Young Leaders Forum, the Chamber’s largest gathering of business leaders and entrepreneurs under 40. Attendees will hear from Hamilton Cardinals Owner & President Eric Spearin, connect with fellow emerging leaders and take part in a thought-provoking conversation about leadership, community and building what comes next.

In the afternoon, the Small Business Summit takes over with keynote remarks from The Honourable Nina Tangri, Associate Minister of Small Business, followed by interactive discussions and breakout workshops designed to provide practical ideas that business owners can put to work.

Whether you’re building a business, growing your career or looking to connect with Hamilton’s business community, this is an opportunity to learn, make new connections and leave with fresh ideas for what’s next.
