DESCRIPTION:
	The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce would like to invite our membe
	rs and Hamilton businesses to attend a focus group and survey project host
	ed by the Conference Board of Canada. You can find and fill out the survey
	 here: https://t.co/3K4VHzWHzI The focus group will be held from 12pm - 2
	pm on February 5th 2016 in the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce Boardroom (120
	 King Street West Hamilton\, Plaza Level). RSVP ASAP as seats are limited.

	or through the registration module before Purpose of the Focus Group The f
	ocus group aims to learn more about the perspectives of employers on the s
	tate of business education in Canada. It will explore questions related to
	 what they look for in a candidate; whether they see graduates as well pre
	pared to do their job; and whether and how their business partners with a 
	university\, college or polytechnic for training or research/advice. Some 
	specific questions will include: Have you hired people with a business edu
	cation? Why or why not? How easy is it to hire the business talent you nee
	d? What business skills are most in demand for your industry? What are you
	r thoughts on the skill levels and quality of candidates? How much do you 
	expect to train a new hire in-house? This is a unique opportunity for busi
	nesses to express their views and needs in a way that will help Canadian p
	olicymakers\, post-secondary institutions\, and advanced education leaders
	 make strategic decisions that will improve the provision of business educ
	ation in Canada. This focus group is part of The Conference Board of Canad
	a's project The State\, Impact and Future of Business Education in Canada.
