	This Accessibility Works presentation is focused on the AODA em
	ployment standard requirements for recruitment\, assessment and selection.
	 It goes over what the law requires\, some best practices\, and provides i
	nformation about tools and resources that businesses can access. This pres
	entation will help businesses understand their obligations under the AODA 
	when it comes to accommodating candidates during the recruitment\, intervi
	ewing\, selection and hiring process. About Accessibility Works: Accessibi
	lity Works is an initiative of the OCC that has been providing presentatio
	ns for chambers across Ontario since 2010. We inform businesses about thei
	r obligations under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act 
	(AODA) in order to help members understand Ontario’s accessibility laws 
	and what they need to do to comply. Accessibility Works offers in person w
	orkshops as well as a series of webinars focusing on the AODA Employment S
	tandard. Accessibility Works is an EnAbling Change Project with the Govern
	ment of Ontario. About speaker: Louie Di Palma\, Director\, SME Programs\,
	 Ontario Chamber of Commerce As the Director of SME Programs\, Louie is re
	sponsible for developing and implementing initiatives of the Ontario Chamb
	er of Commerce that are designed to strengthen the business climate of Ont
	ario and support our members by providing them with access to resources. D
	uring his career with the Government of Ontario\, Louie held a number of s
	enior management positions in policy\, planning and direct operations with
	 several Ministries including the Ministry of the Solicitor General and Co
	rrectional Services\, the Ministry of Tourism and Recreation and the Minis
