23 Dec Ancaster Community Awards: Nominations open

The Ancaster Division of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce has opened the nomination process for the annual Ancaster Community Awards.  The deadline for nominations is February 8, 2013.  The awards will be presented at a special dinner event at the Ancaster Mill on the evening of April 9, 2013.  The Awards include:

Royal Bank Ancaster Citizen of the Year
Ancaster Mill Ancaster Youth Volunteer of the Year
Heritage Household Ancaster Business of the Year

Last year’s winners were Anton Plas (Royal Bank Ancaster Citizen of the Year); Derek Hambly (Ancaster Mill Ancaster Youth Volunteer of the Year); and Heritage Green Landscape Contractors (Heritage Household Ancaster Business of the Year).

The Hamilton Chamber would like to thank sponsors RBC, Ancaster Mill, Heritage Household Services, Rotary Club of Ancaster, Rotary Club of Ancaster A.M. and Ancaster News who have contributed to this important event.  The Rotary Clubs are providing a $500 Youth Educational Bursary to the Ancaster Youth Volunteer of the Year.
