Your Chamber's public policy positions are approved by the Chamber's Board, duly elected annually to both represent, and be representative, of the broader membership. However, these positions are generally based on specific recommendations made by Chamber Committees and Divisions under a fully democratic process on the basic principal of "one member, one vote". Further, any Chamber member in good standing can actively participate in any Committee/Division meeting at any time, including full voting rights. We thus encourage all members interested in public policy matters to contribute to this process by becoming actively involved in your Chamber's Committees/Divisions.
